Orangutans Paper Toy
Let’s save the Orangutans
Orangutans Paper Toy, a kit printed and packed in 100% recycled paper.
Plastic Free, very easy to cut, resistant and eco-friendly.
Since 1991, BOS has rescued more than 3000 orangutans and, since 2012, released 386 orangutans back into the wild after up to nine years of rehabilitation.
Furthermore, BOS is managing and protecting huge areas of rainforest. Together with volunteers, BOS reforests destroyed areas and engages in community development to generate alternative and sustainable sources of income, as well as to improve local health care and environmental education. Orangutans are a so-called umbrella species. By protecting orangutans in their natural habitat, a whole plethora of other flora and fauna depending on the orangutan are also protected. Protecting their habitat is as important to humans as it is to wildlife.
This non-profit organization has aimed to protect orangutans and their habitat — the rainforest of Indonesia. For that purpose, BOS Switzerland supports the programs of BOS Foundation in Borneo, Indonesia. BOS is running the largest primate rescue and rehabilitation program in the world.

In a World full with technology, our paper toys bring back the pleasure of constructing your own toys. Most importantly, our toys are meant to be built using the hands, increasing manual dexterity and spatial perception.
Firstly, they aim to enhance in the child, or in whom handles them, an active and creative intervention. We believe in the principle that the difference enriches us. In other words, it’s important to have toys that raise creativity, provide new experiences, highlight the human individuality and allow interactivity with others.
Above all, from the very beginning, we decided that our paper toys and other paper products should be made only with 100% recycled paper, from 100% de-inked recycled fibres and PCF (Process Chlorine Free).
In addition, we use a recycled paper from FSC certified suppliers, with Blue Angel Certification, EU Ecolabel Certification, Process Chlorine Free and Heavy metal absence. In conclusion, they’re compliant with the EU’s Toy Safety EN 71-1 (2014), EN 71-2:2011 + A1:2014 and EN 71-3/A1:2014 standards.
